Pumpkins!

I have been seeing different varieties of these fabric "pumpkins" all over the place! So I decided I was going to make me some! I tried a few different ways, before attaching the fabric. I think these ones turned out the most like "pumpkins"!

These were pretty fun to make, I had everything I needed except for the fabric, which I got for cheap at Walmart!

Everytime I look at them, I want to make MORE MORE  MORE just so I can have my very own pumpkin patch, wouldn't that be cute?! Here's another picture, just because they are darling!

Candy Corn, real enough to eat!

I finished another Fall project (last night when I should have been in bed)! Sorry for the poor quality photographs (snapped them before bed as well!)

Okay so I originally got the idea from Chapman Place, who got the idea from Swainston Vinyl and Dezign.

I LOVED the look of the beadboard, but did not have any on hand ( I plan to buy some, so I can start creating away!)

So instead, I took my wood and drew three different sized "Candy Corn" shapes. I then cut them out, and to "resemble" the "look" of beadboard I took a sharp blade and cut lines for more texture. I attatched small (triangle shaped) pieces to the back to help them stand up better by themselves. After sanding the fronts and edges, I painted away starting with yellow and making my way up. Left them to dry, then distressed them a bit and stained over the majority of each "Candy Corn". Added some "Fall-ish" ribbon, yarn, and leaves and I LOVE the finished project!
