So far I am LOVING my new meal plan schedule. I collect all ingredients the morning of, which shaves some time off when it's actually time to cook dinner. Yesterday, I made homemade roasted tomato chesse pizza, on the menu today was mini meatloafs (for hubby), baked potatos, ceaser pasta salad, and leftovers of pizza (for me). YUMMY! Shopping is on our to do list tonight, (with coupons in hand!) we will be collecting ingredients for the next 3 weeks worth of meals. (eeks!)
At least I can feel at ease, knowing that we ARE getting somewhere. (In being more organized.) The next "organizing redo" should be has to be our desk area! (It really needs attention!)
Meanwhile, I did have a little bit of time to start (and finish) a craft today.
My "craft garbage" can, got a makeover! Now it can sit on my table, and I don't have to be ashamed of it! (It was an old popcorn tin, now a trash can. The lid serves as a paint tray.) I used scraps of: paper, fabric, ribbon, and a few buttons and plastic letters!
I think it's cute. How about you? (Oh, the little things in life!)
Right now I'm going to attempt finishing another project of mine, we'll see how far I get. One of our weekly shows is on, tonight, so we will be in bed a little later than normal.
On the menu for tomorrow's dinner is Broccoli rice and chicken casserole!
(Sounds YUMMY!) Hopefully there will be more time for crafting/organizing too!
For what it's worth, be greatful for what you have.
Show kindness towards your loved ones, don't push them away.
Live happily and freely. Live for those around you.
In my life, at this point and time:
things are wonderful, just the way they are.
