This week as flown by, I can't believe it's already Thursday (night). I love when the week goes by so quickly, even more when the weekend is HERE. I don't even know where to start, we have been having VERY nice weather this past weekend/week. (Therefore we have been trying to get out and get some FRESH air!) It's nice, to have the sun shining. (It makes everyone, well, almost everyone in a GOOD mood!)
Onto my crafting for this week, I think I finished a grand total of ONE project. (Besides the ones I already posted about, on Sunday!) This was another St. Pats craft, even though St. Pats was yesterday.
Here is a small tutorial of how I made this:
I started out with: green and black paint, along with 3-D gold metallic paint.
A few things of this and that: Styrofoam ball, green ribbon, shamrock garland, and raffia.
One clay pot.
First I painted the whole pot green, along the top edge I painted that black for the "belt" and topped it off with a "belt buckle" using the 3-D gold paint.
Add styrofoam to the inside of the pot, paint a doll rod green, start hot gluing the shamrock garland (just go crazy!). I also added some (leftover) black fabric to the bottom to cover the styrofoam, and a few shamrocks that fell off the garland while glueing. Add a ribbon and WA-LA!
We will be spending this weekend with family, should be fun!
I just hope the weather stays nice! (Yes, I heard it was supposed to snow on sunday!)
Goodbye for now!
